Robert W. Brockway

Chariman & CEO, Bill Ussery Motors Group

A twenty-five year principal of Bill Ussery Motors, parent company of Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables, Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay and Bill Ussery Motors Collision Center, Robert (Bob) W. Brockway joined the organization in 1986 as vice president and operations manager and was named president in 1996.  In 2006, Bob and wife, Paula, became sole proprietors of all entities and, subsequently, Bob took on his current role of chairman and CEO.  In 1957, family-owned Bill Ussery Motors, Inc. was the first dealership in Florida awarded a Mercedes-Benz franchise. Since that time, the company has been admired industry-wide for its continued record sales and its reputation for superb customer service.  Under the leadership of Bob, the company has experienced tremendous growth with the opening of Bill Ussery Motors Collision Center in 2007 and Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay in 2008.   

Paula Brockway

Vice President and Principal, Bill Ussery Motors Group

Paula Brockway is vice president and principal of Bill Ussery Motors Group, parent company of Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables, Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay and Bill Ussery Motors Collision Center.  Paula and her husband Bob, whose grandfather established the company in 1953, head an organization which provides more than 350 jobs in the South Florida community.  Paula, along side of Bob, is dedicated to the growth of the Bill Ussery Motors family of companies and plays an important role in all decisions related to its strategic business development.  

Greg Barnes

President and Chief Operating Officer, Bill Ussery Motors Group Email

As president of Bill Ussery Motors, Greg Barnes is responsible for overseeing all business and logistics operations of Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables, Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay and Bill Ussery Motors Collision Center. Additionally, he remains focused on exploring acquisition and expansion opportunities for the company. Greg joined Bill Ussery Motors in 1999 as operations manager at Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables, and was promoted to general manager at the dealership in 2002. He became president and Chief Operating Officer of Bill Ussery Motors Group in 2009. 

Ronit Canet

Secretary, Treasurer and CFO, Bill Ussery Motors Group Email

As chief financial officer, Ronit Canet overseas all financial and accounting aspects of the business  including, but not limited to, day to day operations, financials, budgeting, cash projections and tax planning  for Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables, Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay and Bill Ussery Motors Collision Center. Additionally, she negotiates loans, leases and deals with various regulatory agencies. She is also part of the executive committee that explores acquisition and expansion opportunities for the Group.  Ronit, a certified public accountant, joined Bill Ussery Motors in 1997 as controller of Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables and Bill Ussery Motors Collision Center. She was promoted to Director of Accounting and Finance in 1999. She became Secretary, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Bill Ussery Motors Group in 2006. Prior to joining Bill Ussery Motors Ronit enjoyed a long and lustrous career in public accounting as an audit manager.  Her accounting background and experience enable her to make informed financial and business decisions. 

C.L. (Pete) Blackwell

General Manager, Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay Email

For general manager Pete Blackwell, opening and operating Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay is the latest chapter in a long and successful automotive career which began in 1969.  Blackwell has been dedicated to this endeavor since he joined Bill Ussery Motors in 2004, seeing the project evolve from concept to now more than two years of successful operation. As general manager, Pete oversees all aspects of the 180,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility which features new and pre-owned vehicle sales, a service department, a boutique and a large client center complete. Under his leadership, Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay is positioned to better serve its growing clientele of Mercedes-Benz buyers who live south of Coral Gables, as well as to help handle additional sales and service clients the company has acquired in recent years.  

David Delgado

General Manager, Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables Email

With more than 20 years in the automotive industry, David Delgado joined Bill Ussery Motors as general sales manager of Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables in 2009. He was promoted to general manager that same year. David’s management and finance experience allows him to continue the dealership’s established track record of exceeding sales and service goals, and expanding the ever-growing client base of the number one Mercedes-Benz dealership in the entire Southeast U.S. For the ninth year in a row, Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables was recognized by Mercedes-Benz USA with the Best of the Best award.  The award, which is presented annually, goes to top performing Mercedes-Benz dealerships for demonstrating superior performance in various areas of their business, including customer satisfaction, new vehicle sales, certified pre-owned sales, leadership and management, parts operations, and market penetration. 

Scott Woodard

General Manager, Bill Ussery Motors Collision Center Email

Scott Woodard joined Bill Ussery Motors in 1999.  As the general manager of the company’s Mercedes-Benz certified collision center, he is responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations.  With more than 25 years of experience in auto body repair, insurance claims adjustment, vehicle technology and operations, Scott has been able to expand and develop the collision center into a state-of-the-art operation.  Each piece of equipment in the 20,000 square foot building, located in South Miami-Dade, was pre-selected to handle the most intricate details in the repair process effectively and efficiently.  His team’s knowledge and experience, along with the multi-million dollar facility, enables Bill Ussery Motors Collision Center to continue to provide excellence in vehicle repair.   

Ann Popplewell

Human Resources Director, Bill Ussery Motors Group Email

Ann Popplewell oversees the human resources departments of Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables, Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay and Bill Ussery Motors Collision Center. In her role, Ann is focused on increasing productivity and continuously improving methods, approaches, and departmental contribution while being cost-sensitive. She emphasizes a commitment to continuous learning in all departments. Ann joined Bill Ussery Motors in 2006. Previously, she held leadership roles in human resources with several companies from a variety of multi-state industries, including land development, education management and retail operations. 

Nicole Waters

Business Development Manager, Bill Ussery Motors Group Email

Since joining the Bill Ussery Motors team in 2004, Nicole Waters has developed a world renowned customer service and sales support department that is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service to both new and existing clients.  Nicole also contributes to the marketing, networking and social media initiatives to grow the business by connecting with the community.

Denie Harris

Marketing Director, Bill Ussery Motors Group Email

Denie Harris handles the marketing efforts of Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables, Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay and Bill Ussery Collision Center including advertising, public relations, collateral materials, internet marketing, publications and community outreach.  In this role, she works closely with Mercedes-Benz USA to ensure compliancy with Mercedes-Benz standards as well as maintain consistency with marketing messaging. Having worked for several years for a public relations agency, Denie joined Bill Ussery Motors in 2007.
